
The Tyne Riparian Owners and Occupiers Association have donated some of the most exclusive and normally unattainable fishing for the Hardy Tyne Fishing Festival on Sunday 25th September.
With record numbers of salmon counted in the Tyne system this spring and 2010 enjoying the best ever salmon rod catches of 5,115 recorded. The River Tyne maintains its status as the number one location for salmon fishing in England.
Anglers have the opportunity to bid for some prime fishing on some of the most exclusive Tyne beats. Bids can be submitted via email, text and phone.The auction system tracks every bid and will keep anglers upto date 24/7 in the UK and abroad.

Proceeds from the event will go to the science-based charity the Tyne Rivers Trust, ensuring the Tyne catchment continues its meteoric success in terms of sustainable, environmental management for the benefit of the river. Continuing the work to protect salmon stocks during the construction of the second Tyne Tunnel, habitat improvements, fish passages and managing fish stocks.
