Salmon Fishing Trip To Norway

Apr 29, 2022 | Where To Fish

Grindal Salmon Lodge is one of the largest stretches of private fly water available on a Norwegian salmon river. The lodge has 3.7 miles of fly water split into 17 beats, including two of the best pools on the river, Igd bilde and Pollen which hold good numbers of fish throughout the season

Homepool beat in front of the lodge is very productive, producing some of the biggest salmon taken on the fly.

The lodge is located by the Orkla River in Rennebu county around 31 miles from the river estuary. There are four newly refurbished and very comfortable cabins. Free wifi is available throughout. Meals are taken in the restaurant in the main house and the evening meal is three courses.

Within the grounds is a small tackle shop stocked with salmon fishing necessities, including a rod, reel and wader hire service.

Price £2,950 and includes the following:
Fishing for salmon from 17th to 24th August
Transfers to and from Trondheim airport on 16th August and 25th August.
Transportation on the beat.
Accommodation.
