Spey Casting Course River Tay

first-copy-addJoin World Spey casting champion Andrew Toft (AAPGAI, FFF THCI Master Instructor) and Iain Kirk (SGAIC) on their one day courses this May and June on FishPonds Beat River Tay. The days are aimed at beginners and those who are keen to enhance their technique and skills.

The emphasis on each course is to assist each individual to progress on all aspects of Spey casting and fishing techniques. You may have fished for trout for many years and wish to try salmon fishing but are not sure where to start?

The course is tailored to suit each individuals requirements and aspirations.

1:Learn to Spey Cast properly and efficiently.
2:Learn new spey casts and when they should be used.
3:Water skills, include how to read the water and fish effectively through a pool.
4:Fault diagnosis and how to correct it.
5:Equipment can be provided if required.

FishPonds beat offers a good variety of fly water on both banks and it holds fish. The fishing hut is spacious, well equipped and has the comforts of home. The beat is less than 15 minutes from Perth. FishPonds beat is an excellent environment for instruction and learning.

Both dates, Saturday 2nd May and Saturday 27th June, are limited to just six places.

Price includes instruction, group and individual demonstrations and your salmon fishing permit. Two course lunch at the fishing lodge and refreshments.
