Jason Corcoran from Ballyduff Bridge Salmon Fishery initially started the Salmon Protection Program on February 1st rewarding anglers for the safe return of fish caught on his fishery with the chance of winning a year’s FREE fishing by submitting their videos of the safe release of their catch.

Recently other fisheries on the Blackwater have joined in this program and also added to the prize list with Conor Arnold of Upper Bridgetown Fishery donating casting tuition and also a loop q rod/reel and line on offer.

All anglers at the end of the season will be put into a draw to win prizes which are growing in number.
