Tweed Fishing Course

TWLP5During August Lower Pavilion fishing are holding two three day courses for salmon and sea trout fishing for beginners to those wishing to extend their knowledge.

Lower Pavilion enjoys double bank salmon fishing of over two miles in a stunning location with panoramic views of the Eildon Hills. The beat catches more than its fair share of big fish in the Summer and Autumn. August has become more important in recent years with one rod catching six sea trout over 5 lbs and up to 9 lbs in two days last summer. Almost every year there are a number of 10lb plus sea trout.

Salmon Course Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday 19/20/21st August
The course includes:
Safety and Etiquette. One to one Tuition in casting skills and practice matching tackle & flies to conditions. Boat fishing skills. Equipment is available if required.

Sea Trout Course Thursday/Friday/Saturday 22/23/24th August
The course includes: As above but hours are slightly different. They will be 9.00am until lunchtime and 8.00 PM till finish (late). Equipment is available if required.

There are only four places available for each course.

Cost is £300 per person for each 3 day course to include all noted above. A food package is available at a cost of £30.
