Why go to Argentina when monster sea trout are only hours away in Iceland. Rivers Tungufljot, Vatnsa, Geirlandsa, Grenlaekur, Varma, Litlaa, Brunna, Eyjafjardara and many more rivers in Iceland offer crystal clear water and fantastic sea trout fishing. The sea trout fishing normally starts in late August and continues into early October although I would recommend fishing during September month. All the fishing is done on private water with 2-6 rods allowed to fish at the same time. You are fishing daily for 10-12 hours and sometimes you will enjoy the northern lights while fishing into the darkness.
