FishPal’s Tom Carter says “I lost  a cracker of a seatrout on a 7/8 weight rod, approx 5lb in weight, whilst fishing the Irvine Lower beat. It ran about 50 yards in a few seconds and then I was broken as the fish got tucked behind a rock and chopped the leader, Gutted!!”

Many thanks to Iain Blackett & Stuart Campbell with other club members who made it a memorable night.

Club Members on the night to host were Iain Blackett, and Stuart Campbell and others as well. Many thanks to Iain whose knowledge of the river  and gifting of flies and tackle was very kind, and of great help!!               Berwick Angling AssociationWhiteadder – There was more evening action on the Whiteadder from Berwick Angling Association.  Andrew Lee and Bluestone beat had anglers who fished into the night and whilst no sea trout were landed a few specimen brownies were caught.         Duke pool at dawn
