Fishing Access Llandovery Wales

Mar 16, 2017 | Where To Fish

Right bank clearA successful work party took place on the lower waters of Llandovery Angling Association on February 18th 2017. The right bank was cleared to allow fishing access from the boulders pool upstream to the junction pool. This is a very productive stretch and with renewed accessibility it should provide good sport for the coming season.

A new stile and platform was also created to allow easier access to the above water. However, one step forward one step back, or down, as the bridge to the cleared bank saw Vince Rees fall through it! Another job to be undertaken.

The new stile is in the field to the right of the access stile on the Llangadog Road A4069. If entering this field, please make sure you keep to the edges of the field.

The angling association has over 10 miles of mainly double bank fishing on the Towy at Llandovery – for more information and to check availability please visit FishPal Llandovery Angling Association
