The Trust is holding a Fundraising Dinner with the goal to raise funds to allow for practical river improvements. This is to ensure the river environment and its wildlife thrives in the future and to develop a local stewardship of the River.
The evening will start with a drinks reception – with a very special guest in attendance! – followed by a sumptuous dinner and then the live auction that will be hosted by Christie’s Director Bernard Williams.
We are calling on all those who want to have a fun evening to support the River, wildlife conservation or a way of life, to join us at this event to celebrate and support the lifeblood of the Dee valley. If you are unable to attend, any contribution would be greatly appreciated or you can support us through participating in the auction below.
Among the 25 lots are fishing trips and fishing equipment, a bespoke kilt, wildlife watching experiences and paintings by local artists Howard Butterworth and Mel Shand. We also have a very special lot donated by Sir Chris Hoy, a signed Team GB cycling shirt worn by Sir Chris at the 2012 World Track Cycling Championships.
