River Nairn Joins FishFindhorn

River NairnThe first fish of the season was caught on 27 th March by well known artist and River Nairn angler Gordon Rennie. The fish weighed 7 lbs and was fresh but no sea lice. It was caught at Rosefield. Well done Gordon.

Best flies for early in the season are Willie Gunn and Allies Shrimp.

The club has exclusive fishing for Salmon and Seatrout over 8 miles of mostly double bank Fishing across seven beats with more than 40 named pools which include some excellent fly water. The five year average Salmon 473, Seatrout 49.

The Nairn is often called “The little Gem” providing fantastic sport for local anglers and visiting fishers alike.
