Filming for Australian TV

Tom Carter filming for Australian It’s been rather a busy month at FishPal HQ, our Marketing Director filming with the BBC and  our latest star our Office Manager Tom Carter filming for Australian TV.

The series called Hook, Line and Sinker, based in Tasmania were let down at the last minute by a Tweed beat and a SOS call to FishPal’s office manager Tom resulted in FishPal not only organising fishing but equipment from rods, reels, lines, flies, waders and accommodation.

Plans are to return next year to do a full feature of fishing in the Borders, including cashmere mills and places to visit for Australian viewers. We are also working with another Aussie TV company – it looks like the Tweed is popular with our fishing friends ‘down under’.

Our thanks must also go to The Gunroom at St Boswells who provided all the equipment and the Teviot Smokery who were also able to showcase the smokery within the film.
