The Grayling fishing dates for this coming winter have now been set and are the following. 16thDecember (Sunday),
13th January (Sunday), 2nd February (Saturday), 24th February (Sunday) and the 16th March (Saturday).
As before we will meet at the cafe 91 on the high street in Lockerbie at 8:30. I have not had a chance to speak to all of the proprietors yet but in the past they have always been very supportive and given their water for free on the understanding that the participants will make a donation to the River Annan Trust. From my point of view these events give me excellent information on the status of the stocks in the river and as the number of years we have done this for accumulates this data becomes even more useful. If you cannot make these dates grayling anglers can still access the river at other times with ease by checking out www.fishannan.co.uk where there are many day tickets available.
