News Release: FishPal Appoint Chief Executive Officer

FishPal has appointed Mark Cockburn as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mark brings a wealth of valuable business experience built up over 30 years within the financial services industry where he has held senior roles through to board level.
James Leeming, Chairman of FishPal, said: “I am delighted that Mark Cockburn will be joining us as Chief Executive. He has a strong record at boardroom level with Lloyds TSB Scotland and other companies. He is the ideal person to build on the successes of FishPal and to ensure that the company continues to be the leading-edge provider of salmon and trout fishing in the UK”
Mark Cockburn commented on his appointment. “To be able to use my extensive business experience, coupled with my passion for salmon fishing, to help build and grow FishPal from its already strong platform is something that I am really looking forward to.”
Mark is a keen angler and regularly fishes for salmon across Scotland. He also enjoys trout fishing in hill lochs and rivers, as well as still waters.
Mark Cockburn takes over from Iain Wood who recently left the business to join The House of Bruar.
