Murrayshall House Hotel & Golf Course on the Tay

The Murrayshall House Hotel & Golf Courses provides anglers with a great base to explore the fishing on the River Tay.

Located 3 miles from the City of Perth, just outside Scone, Murrayshall is a 4 star country house hotel with two on-site golf courses. We have 26 bedrooms in the traditional main house and a further 14 suites adjacent and a lodge house by the hotel grounds entrance.

After an spending a day on the river, or riverbank you can enjoy the excellent hospitality that Murrayshall has to offer, luxurious bedrooms, relaxing lounges, open log fires in the winter, fabulous malt trolley and wonderful food sourced locally and produced fresh for your plate.

Should your outdoor activities go beyond the love of fishing we have two 18 hole golf courses onsite and numerous walks around the estate and surrounding countryside.

Equipment, advice, instruction and guiding can be arranged by the hotel for many of the local beats, packed lunches and for larger parties barbecues on the beat can be arranged with prior arrangement.

The salmon season runs from mid January to Mid October with anglers come to central Scotland from all over the world to fish here.
