FishTweed participated in the VisitScotland Winter White campaign and the lucky winners were Mr & Mrs Nathan, who whilst they had done some sea fishing in the past, had never experienced salmon fishing on a river. Mr. & Mrs. Nathan who are expecting their first child are seen at West Learmouth, with Bob Harrison, West Learmouth’s boatman, and had an enjoyable Easter weekend at The Wheatsheaf in Swinton. They were looked after by Bob and FishTweed’s reporter Bill Stanworth and given casting lessons with the fly rod and spinner. Unfortunately no fish were landed but some were seen, which encouraged our guests to try hard, and they are all for coming back and having another go
