Share a rod with a friend on the River Tyne

Apr 7, 2011 | Blog, River Reports, Uncategorized

Today we have some availability on the River Tyne for rod sharing. If your like me this is appealing and can make a days fishing affordable. Enjoying the company of your fellow angler and the mornings fishing tales and knowledge shared during a pub lunch or picnic is the perfect day out for me.

The Broadbank beat on the North Tyne near Wark a short beat of 200yds on the North Bank of the river. Situated in very private grounds in a beautiful reach of the North Tyne. Lightly fished in the past by family guests. Guests have caught numerous salmon some to 20lbs in their few visits. This is ideal fishing for anglers wishing to enjoy fishing the fly or spinner. As a female angler a great location for a girls day out fishing!

With the village of Wark close by offering excellent accommodation (see the Battlesteads Inn) and is central to many other North Tyne Beats such as Chesters, Chipchase and Haughton Castle. Perfect for a short break away fishing. More information
